U.S. Schools Lag Behind In Use Of Technology
This article really made me think. There were many points made and I agree with them, but they are not necessarily good things. As a future teacher it is scary to think that most of my students may be technologically smarter than I am. That is what we need to change to make better use of all of the technology out there. Just like our discussion on ways to continue learning, I feel like as a teacher in the future I need to learn as much as I can, so I can be just as ready as the students. I want to help the students learn, so along the way I will have to learn more too. It is a cycle that we all have to get used to.

National Education Technology Plan
This plan is exactly what we as teachers will work towards each day in our classrooms. Technology and other advances are helpful, but we have to change the old to work with the new. The world is forever changing, so we have to change with it or we will be left behind. As a future teacher I am grateful for all of the new advances. As a student I would have loved to blog or make a podcast for the world to see. It would have made even more excited to learn. This plan is a great idea and I hope it enlightens the education world and makes even better ways for students to learn.

NETS: National Education Technology Standards: for Students, for Teachers and for Administrators
These were full of great information! They would be very helpful to me if I was a teacher right now, but they gave me wonderful ideas for the future. As a future teacher I will always be needing new ways to integrate technology into my classroom. It was helpful that there was a section for each person or persons who would be actually working at a school. It has to start with the administrators and go into the classrooms from there, so I think everyone needs to know and understand the standards. The standards also help teachers and administrators see how technology is useful and how it does NOT have to be a scary thing.

Don't Just Adapt Technology, Adopt It!
I enjoyed reading this articale as well. The title itself makes me want to read on. This class and all of the other information I have learned makes me want to adopt technology. I definitely just dab with technology, but I am trying to change. I have learned a lot of new things to do in new ways. Every school and teacher needs to read this article because they need to realize how much they just dab with technology. There are many new advances out there, so we always need to try to things!
